COME UP HIGHER – My Hiding Place

October 10, 2021 12:59 AM MY HIDING PLACE

Dear brothers and sisters,

greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus our Saviour.

This prophecy entitled, ‘COME UP HIGHER’ is an invitation from our Heavenly Father to draw nearer to Him at this late hour; to come closer to Him, so we can feel His heart and His desires for our lives. He also wants to alert us that calamities are upon us and in a short time our lives are going to be in chaos. By spending time in close fellowship with Him we can learn to distinguish His voice so He can lead us in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

The Holy Spirit has led me to a deeper study concerning the temples and highlighted to me that the 1st temple (the one that Solomon built for the Lord in 2 Chron.3) further represents the first transformation our hearts experience when we go from a state of brokenness to a beautiful masterpiece in the Lord’s hand. Whereas, the 2nd temple (the one outlined in Ezra 6-7), represents the latter rain of the Holy Spirit that is soon to come for all those who have matured in the Spirit. According to Haggai 2:9, ‘The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts’.

I must warn that for those who have ignored the calling of the Lord to come back to His first love, to let go of all worldly things, and to develop an intimacy with the Holy Spirit, time of testing is upon you. If you haven’t allowed Father to mould you the way a potter moulds His clay, then know that a time of fiery trials is at hand. We’re approaching a season of great devastation upon the earth, such as never been before. Many will not make it through it. Those who do will be led to their pressing and crushing stage to be purified and made holy. They will witness their lives, their world crumble right in front of their eyes. They will be terrified by sights that never thought they would see. It will be hard to make sense of things. These individuals will be taken to places they wished they’d never go; be mistreated, humbled, humiliated, broken. They will suffer loss on many levels; their very lives will be at stake. It will be through a heartfelt repentance that these may be delivered from the hands of their oppressors. If their confession is honest and sincere, Father will send either one of His army soldiers or an angel to rescue them.

Those who have already been made into magnificent temples by the hand of God, rejoice that the Holy Spirit outpouring is soon. When the latter rain comes, we will receive His power, authority and anointing in abundance and be sent out under His grace and favour to go and execute our calling according to Isaiah 61.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

At this time, some will be dispatched to be part of Father’s army, to defeat the powers of darkness, to bring down principalities of demons and Satan’s plans. Others will be appointed to be leaders just like Moses, to teach, guide and lead the people of God and all those who will believe during the Harvest of souls. Or like Ezra who was responsible for the administration of everything that Father had prescribed to be done for His temple, in this case for His temples (other believers). Others will be led out like the seventy-two in Luke 10, straight into the storm like sheep among the wolves, to heal and to deliver the demon-possessed and no harm will come to them (verse 19). Praise God!

The Holy Spirit is highlighting to me that just like in Ezra 9-10, husbands had to leave their idolater wives and children in order to be fully devoted to the Lord, many will be asked to do the same: to leave their families behind to follow Jesus.

*Note: I’m not saying we should all abandon our families. What I am saying is that we will be asked to step aside from those who deliberately want to follow their idols so that we will not go astray.

Matt. 10:34-38 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

As time progresses, this defining line will become more evident. Jesus is separating the wheat from the tares; the sheep from the goats. Which are you? Are you ready to lay down your life for Jesus? This may be a literal calling or one to deny ourselves for the sake of others. Choose wisely. Choose Jesus. Choose life.

As I write this, I can tell you that I have been called to separate myself from some of my family members who continue to scoff and mock at Father’s words. And I’m being alerted that further divisions are on the horizon. This has been incredibly difficult to do, but I know the plans my Father has for me and I’ve made the decision that I will not be found unworthy of His calling over my life. Lord, help us all to be faithful to you and endure until the very end.

Jesus said in Mark 3: 33-35

And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

We all identify ourselves as sons/daughter of our parents, brothers/sisters of our siblings, etc. But who are we in Christ? Have we discovered our God-given identity? Learn to commune with the Lord and discover your heavenly identity, your gifting, the anointing Father wants you to operate in. Come up higher into His ways. Learn to let go of ALL worldly things and embrace more of the things of God. For we are not of this world, any more than Jesus was of the world.

John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Seek the Lord and His will for your life and you will discover that life is so much more than what you’ve been living this far. Father’s ways are infinite.

Matt. 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

As I conclude this Word I am reminded of our beloved Jesus. What sort of relationship did He have with Father? One in which He fully surrendered even His own life, choosing Father’s will above His own.

Luke 22:42, 44 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

He’s calling us today to make a decision to surrender our lives wholly to Him and He’s left us a great example. He can relate to the decisions we have to make as He’s been through the same already. And now He’s cheering us on, encouraging us to not give up on Him and to pursue the narrow path that leads to eternal life.

May His love and peace rest on us all.
