My personal experience, and encounter with the Trinity. The Father and the Word are 2 distinct Persons. For the Word to be "with" the Father declares Him to be another Person, yet also God. Indeed the Trinity is a divine mystery. John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. The same is declared in Hebrews 1 The Father said to Jesus, THE WORD, to sit down at His right hand. The Word sits with the Father, at His right hand, signifying Him to be a distinct unique Person. The Father gives also testimony of Jesus to be His Son and also God. Hebrews 1 1 God, who at many times and in various manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he brings the firstbegotten into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. 8 But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. 10 And, you, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: 11 They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall grow old as does a garment; 12 And as a mantle shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail. 13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool? The Father did not instruct nor give the order to himself to sit down at His right hand. The Father does not have a split personality. It is clear that they are 2 different divine Persons. Then we find the third Person of the Trinity declared to be yet a unique distinct Person. John 16 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you. 16 A little while, and you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and you shall see me, because I go to the Father. 3 in 1 The mystery of the oneness of the Triune God is declared in Isaiah 9 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. They appeared before me as 3 Persons in glorious blinding light, 6 years ago while I faced one of my worst battles through an alter split when Satan and Jezebel were trying to destroy me. The Father had to send my spirit into that battle as the real me. They speak of themselves as "We the Trinity God" People can believe what they want to, but I've heard and encountered all 3 since 1997 when Jesus rescued me. They have distinct voices and you know exactly who it is that speaks to you, the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit. Jesus has appeared to me many times and twice even walked into my room in Person while I was wide awake in a robe that looks as if made out of lightning. He came to lay His hand on my head as Christ stood right before me while I sat on my bed to heal and integrate two alter splits in my fragmented soul. We give testimony of what we've seen, heard and know. Then there's the further mystery of the 7 Spirits of God.
